What a hard hitting interview by Ms Sawyer! Darn, the media is so tough on McCain. That yearbook part at the end was really biting! With such tough interviews such as this from the great journalist, Ms Sawyer, I don't see how McCain can weather the storm.

Yes, talk about "getting a pass!" The ONLY ones who've been tough on him have been his own: conservatives.

Every single one of those wailing conservatives will vote for McCain; every single one. That was never an issue.

The media so far has been incredibly soft on this guy. Imagine if Obama conflated the Iranians with Al Qaeda. The conservatives and their friends in the MSM would be screaming to the rafters how incompetent Obama is.

I did glean another interesting thing out of the love piece; John McCain is under the mistaken impression that this country is right of center. Maybe in his world and the places he vists that may be the case but the large majority of this country is in the middle.

If anything, after 8 years of lies and incompetence, this country is tilting a little bit to the port side.

Come June when Obama is finally able to rid himself of the Hillary virus I look for him to expose McCain for what he is; and that sure as heck ain't a "maverick". McCains lobbyist advisors better have him prepared for the young gunslinger.

Wouldn't he just be able to use the Obama excuse, and say that he only agrees with the happy, good stuff, and he's able to ignore the hatred? It worked for Obama.

I'll be happy if the day ever comes when we don't have to hear about any candidate's spiritual advisor(s) or gods. Or even better, their religious beliefs will have no impact on the manner in which they govern.

Yo Matclone, tell me something, how did the rest of the media and most of the country react to the NYT story? Does your brain really compute to thinking that the story from the NYT hurt your man? Be serious...your point was pathetically weak.

As to taking potshots, did I claim to be in the middle? Are you making assumptions? Try to bring a little more next time and then maybe you can attempt to score some points.

Maybe he would. We'll never know since the media would never go there. After all, McCain is everybodies favorite ol' grandpa.

Then again, what pigment are McCain and his favorite little evangelists? Ya think that may have a little something to do with it? Nah, of course not.
