She was a very public figure involved in a very public scandal, and her behavior at that time can fairly be addressed.
Actually, at the time of the incident, even though I wasn't a Clinton supporter, I felt that impeachment for lying about it was ridiculous and it was only an offense to his wife. Still, it showed poor judgement and would have generated valid criticism of him as a candidate had he not yet been elected. I'm not interested in a candidate's private sexual habits, but I am interested in how he or she behaves in a crisis (Hillary)and whether he or she (Bill) has enough sense to respect the office (the Office of the Presidency in general and the oval office specifically).
There is a fine line here, and I think this question straddles it.
