I'm not saying that Hillary's credibility was affected one way or another by the Lewinski affair, but I don't think that the question should be off limits. She was a very public figure involved in a very public scandal, and her behavior at that time can fairly be addressed.

Actually, at the time of the incident, even though I wasn't a Clinton supporter, I felt that impeachment for lying about it was ridiculous and it was only an offense to his wife. Still, it showed poor judgement and would have generated valid criticism of him as a candidate had he not yet been elected. I'm not interested in a candidate's private sexual habits, but I am interested in how he or she behaves in a crisis (Hillary)and whether he or she (Bill) has enough sense to respect the office (the Office of the Presidency in general and the oval office specifically).

There is a fine line here, and I think this question straddles it.

Oh, Spider I just thought of something I hadn't before. IF Hillary won, she'd get the Oval Office. I think Bill ruined the thrill of that for her.

My opinion is that if you are out campaigning then you should be prepared for questions like this. I personally wouldn't ask that to Chelsea but if she is not a little girl anymore and politics is a rough game.

I personally don't care about the Lwinski thing. I don't like that he lied about it and don't agree with cheating. But if he did cheat at least follow JFK and cheat with a hot girl. I'd like to tell the Media to LET IT GO!

The media needs to focus more on what she says and her positions. That should sink her.
