We have passed the 5 year mark and the 4000 dead Americans mark. I'll be looking forward to the $1 trillion dollar mark here down the road.
I think we Americans want more of this. Therefore, I request that we stick with the Bush/Cheney policy and allow John McCain to continue their legacy. Remember, we still have about another 55,000 deaths to go to even be remotely compared to Vietnam. I see no reason why we can't make an attempt though.
I encourage all of you to vote McCain in November. If you can't afford to drive to your local polling place due to fuel prices, we will provide other transportation for you. This is a momentous time in our country. John McCain brings a vision that very few, other than that of Bush and Cheney that will bring peace and love to this planet.
We shall overcome all those people that hate us for our freedom. There is no nation with oil that we will not bring freedom and democracy. Please join me in voting for the status quo.

Reason: To get more red dots.
Just say what you mean. You want us to join you in voting for higher taxes, a weaker military, lax border security, a welfare state, higher gov. spending with the new health care plans. Oh and I cant forget lets vote for someone who for the last 20 years has kept a racist, Anti_American pastor as a spiritual advisor. Sounds good to me where do I sign up?

I wonder what those fuel prices would be like if Iran 100% controlled the Middle East? DOH!!!
lets vote for someone who for the last 20 years has kept a racist, Anti_American pastor as a spiritual advisor.
Racist? How? Show us that you can do more than parrot talk radio.
Anti-American? By whose standard? I think I read he served in the military. As with John Kerry, I guess his service was for naught, if the non-serving pimps of talk radio say it is so.

He may have been drafted into the military and just because you served it doesnt mean you are pro-america for the rest of your life. When you say "God Damn America" and that 9/11 was the chickens coming home to roost I think by anyones standard that is anti-America.
I posted a video on the other thread of Pastor Wright that explains pretty much everything. Like I said before you dont need talk radio to tell what to think when you can listen to Wright speak himself.
If America is so great then why does Obama thrive on CHANGE? Perhaps Obama wants a new America and wants to God damn the old one or at least some parts of it.
Ugly you said in the past you hate Bush. That is anti-American by your standards since America elected him.
Snippets of video are similar to snippets of quotes, they can (and often are) taken out of context.
If he said god-damn America, that doesn't necessarily make him anti-American by my standards, but go ahead and assume you speak or America.
I asked on another thread why Ron Paul can argue "chickens are coming home to roost" but Rev Wright or Ward Churchill cannot. Predictably, I never got a response.
Like I suggested on another thread, you simply accept what right-wing media tells you, no questions asked.
Okay I want you to switch the works black with white and pretend those words came from a white guy. This country would be up in arms calling him a racist!!
I looked at a variety of sources both liberal and conservative leaning sources and I came to the conclusion that this guy is Racist.
Big, I have no doubt they played it over and over although I haven't seen it.
I do watch the papers, however, and they've been all over this story. I've noticed they repeat over and over that his comments were incindiary, or controversial, or outrageous. Charles Krauthammer called it (over and over) hate speech.
Yet, I've seen very little content quoted in the papers, and I've mentioned it all here in these threads. I guess you had to see the video (in its truncated form) to know how wrong and awful he was. And let there be no mistake: this Reverend, who served in the U.S. armed forces and grew his church from small to huge (the American dream) is now one of the most reprehensible and despicable men in America to about 25% of America based on this video snippet shown over and over.
