The Scriptures incourage Christians to judge false converts and false doctrine.

15: Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

I can judge Obama by his doctrine, by his actions, and by the company he keeps.

What specific doctrines or actions of Obama's are anti-Christian?

G#_ D#mmit, I hate it when you resort to this. I don't believe in your flippin' Bible so quit acting like that's supposed to settle any debate because it doesn't. I could sit here and quote Aesops' Fables and that wouldn't prove a damn thing.....other than my own logic can't stand on it's own merits.

    Well Black and Blue
You criticized my judgment of Obama and said that I cannot know about him. I use my final authority and final reference point that according to my belief system, I am justified in doing so. The subject is about whether Obama is a Christian or not. The final authority for Christianity is the Bible. I use it to validate my point. There can be no other reference that I could user in my belief system. If you don't like my response to questions like that, don't ask/read. Da.

That would only qualify you to judge if he's gay.

Sorry, I don't buy it. It is politically expedient to be a "Christian". The first thing a politician does when he moves into a town is to join the biggest church in town.
Except for Joe Lieberman, a devoutly orthodox Jew and vice-Presidential candidate. It may be politically advantageous to be a Christian, but it's a political necessity to be a God fearing religious person.

You just don't get it. YOU don't have final authority. You have an opinion....and it doesn't matter what you quote as your source, it is nothing more than an opinion - no matter how shallow and misguided it may be.

It's just an issue of how you interpret the Bible. Some people believe it's the literal, immutable word of God; some people think it's the words of prophets inspired by God; some people believe that it is not meant to be taken literally, but is meant as a guide to a moral life; and some people think it's just another book. None of these beliefs will ever be proven right or wrong, so it's a waste of time to try to dissuade anyone from their beliefs. Different strokes . . .

. . . but that's why it should never be used as an instrument supporting or opposing any legislation or political stance.

arm-spin asks: BTW what things has Barack Obama done that are blatantly anti-Christian?

To which ctc replies: I can judge Obama by his doctrine, by his actions, and by the company he keeps.

Now that's what I call avoiding the question.

As an aside, I've noticed with the talk radio crowd (for lack of better definition--let's just say it's a large number of people)--that they're frequently long on conclusions (e.g. Obama is a psuedo Christian) , and short on evidence or arguments.
