Sorry, I don't buy it. It is politically expedient to be a "Christian". The first thing a politician does when he moves into a town is to join the biggest church in town. Most care absolutely zilch for the things of Christ. Obama himself, a professing Christian that I think of as a psuedo-Christian, cares nothing about what Jesus says. Now that he is president, he doesn't even go to church.

4: And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
I am not doubting that many politician declare their faith as Christians for political purposes, but this is often becasue no matter what many voters will not vote for an atheist or agnostic.

Finally, who are you to judge calling Obama and others psuedo-Christian?

    I agree with both comments.

I don't think any of us can 100% know Obama's personal religious beliefs.

What? You didn't know that CTC knows exactly what is or is not considered "Christian"? GIve him a few seconds - he'll be sure to tell you. He loves "preaching" on messageboards.....
Your ignorance is painful to witness.....

Everyone just like ctc is "real". Anyone even remotely different is "pseudo".

I think it was John Calvin who talked about the "Invisible Church"... the "true Christians", the one who have real and saving relationship with God. They are the invisible ones because only God knows who they are. For us to decide that a specific individual (ie Barack Obama) is "not a real Christian" is kind of silly; God alone has the ability to know and decide.

BTW what things has Barack Obama done that are blatantly anti-Christian?
