Like I said a dead man is a dead man. Iraqis died in both cases and many died horribly during this invasion.

Saddam just wanted to keep Iraq calm. He did not do it for fun. That's ridiculous.

A dead man is a dead man? Ha! Preposterous. If that were true, there's be no reason to study history. Dead men are remembered differently depending on their actions during life and the way they died. I'd rather die fighting for freedom then be killed on the whim of a dictator.

I care only about statistics. The result of either has not much difference statistically. Talk about freedom all you want but the fact is nearly a million Iraqis are either disfigured or dead as a result of American invasion. That is your freedom.

If Saddam were the only problem, all fighting would cease with his capture. That was not the case. That is all that matters.

How many Iraqis were left disfigured or dead by Saddam's genocide? How many Iraqis no longer have to worry about their own government killing them? THAT is freedom.

The fighting did not cease with Saddam's capture, but that is a different matter. Is it better for Iraqis to live in fear of their own government or for them to fight a battle they can conceivably win -- this fight against the insurgency. This way, they at least have a chance at fighting for themselves. Before the removal of Hussein, they had not recourse -- not opportunity to stand up for themselves.

Remember the men and women with the purple finger tips held up in the air proudly when they were allowed for the first time to vote in free elections? That happened because of the American soldiers who set them free.

Why is it, Big, that you enjoy your own freedom, but despise it so when others acheive their own freedom? You are very hypocritical here.

Besides, the fighting after Saddam's removal is not all that matters. You have said many times in the past that life is not black-and-white. Thus, you know that other circumstances matter. You seem to tell us that gray areas exist when it benefits you, then tell us that life is black-and-white when it benefits you. Please pick one and be consistent.

A dead man is a dead man. Whether you kill for power or for oil is irrelevant. If not for oil Americans wouldn't give a rat's azz what happens in Iraq just like in Africa. Bush just couldn't accept that a man that upset his daddy had all that oil to enjoy.

Upset his daddy so much that his daddy kicked the crap out Iraq? Just because he detested a world leader doesn't mean his son went out of his way to appease his father. You make things up and pretend as if they are fact. Then you keep repeating it over and over again as if hoping that everybody else will band up with you and MAKE it a fact. It is not a fact. Get over it.

How are you going to explain to hundreds of thousands of kids that their fathers' heads were cut off after lawlessness broke out as a result of American invasion? Oh it was due to freedom sweety. Give me a break! You are delusional. It wasn't your father that was found on the street with no head.
