In regards to the racism issue there is always going to be some racism no matter how hard you try to weed it out. Whether it is here in the United States, in Asia, Europe, or in Africa you are going to find ignorant people who are racist. Now some people try to exploit racism to help move their own agenda and I think that is terrible.

All we can do to fight Racism is educate our youth and each other to look at who the person is and not what color/gender the person is.

Just wanted to throw in my two cents.

I must say, a darn good comment for someone who listens to talk radio.

When others of us have said that same thing, we were called racists.

It has Obama beating him every poll save for one.

Forget Republican or Democrat. Americans of all convictions should be afraid of McCain as President. The man is reckless and he will bring this country to its knees for good. The only rationale I see for McCain to be in the lead is to eliminate any chance of other Republican candidates to become president, which is what I am assuming Republican voters are doing. The truth is the majority of Republican voters even want a Democratic Candidate to win now and deal with this mess.

Matclone, you do seem to inject race into a lot of discussion and I only occasionally browse the politics and religion board.

Ugly, to believe there are not people who will vote against Obama specifically becasue of his skin color is not realistic. It is entirely guesswork how many of those people exist and how many will vote, but it is a legitimate point.

Finally, McCain is by far the most electable Republican. Either Democrat would have crushed any of the other candidates.
I am a Democrat and I like McCain, I will vote for Hillary if she is nominated, but feel that the artificial divide (i.e. Red State / Blue State) in the country will worsen if she is elected.

Yes right now Obama is beating him in every poll, but look how close most of the polls are. There is always a margin of error in the polls and that makes it even closer. Same thing with the Clinton McCain polls.

However I personally think that McCain will gain even more ground after the nominations are final.

Even according to the former chairman of the DNC (can't remember his name) says that the way Clinton and Obama are campaining against each other they are hurting the democratic ticket.

If Clinton wins then a lot of the independants and even some Democrats will go for McCain because of what the Obama campain is saying, because of everything she says about Obama and because she carries a lot of baggage.

If Obama wins then he will come out so beat up by the Clinton Machine that he will lose votes.

Now I am not a McCain fan, the guy I liked (Romney) dropped out today, but I think that he is more electable than either Clinton or Obama.
