Default Survival of the fittest health care system by Big

Here is how you cover everyone in the country and pay the same or less as what people are paying now. Take all the people 65 years old and under and unless they have some illnesses that are beyond their control, let them pay from their own pocket a big chunk of the proceudres that are very costly even if they are covered by this plan.

In other words, say you had a perfectly healthy heart all your life but at 45 you got a heart attack or you need stents and such. Its your fault you didn't keep your heart healthy so you must pay for the procedures.

Say you got diabetes because you are overweight and out of shape and you got it at age 50. Its your own fault and you must pay for medication and any treatments.

This would get people to think twice and they would take care of their bodies better and prevent themselves from costly diseases.

Say you didn't go to the doctor for 3 years and you need a root canal. You have to pay for some portion of the procedure because it is your fault you let your teeth rot.

Too many people think they can just go to the doctor or the hospital if something happens because they have medical insurance rather than lead a healthy and active lifestyles!

Of course many health problems arise when people work crazy overtimes to PAY THE BILLS. In order to get healthy they would have to stop doing that. This would affect our precious ECONOMY. People would not be able to afford that flat screen TV or that Honda car. Tough break.
