The Bush administration said it had notified Congress of plans to sell Saudi Arabia bomb-guidance kits as part of a multi-billion dollar package of advanced arms to Gulf Arab states that officials see as countering growing Iranian military clout.
It has never been about Democracy. It has always been "enemy of my enemy is my friend" and "Even our enemy can be useful for some time if they do what we need them to do".
