Please. Let's not attribute the decision to invade Iraq to "bad intelligence" or refer to the "ineptitude" of a group of nameless, faceless professionals. If they were "inept", so was Clinton for keeping "them" on (like Democrats, they're all the same I suppose), and then so was Bush for keeping them on.
What I think is worse is that our enemies say the same things the democrats do. Al-sadyr says that the US should have a timetable for leaving Iraq, just like Reid, Pelosi, and the bunch. Bin laden released statements during the 2004 presidential campaign that said he had the same values and ideas for the US leaving the middle east that John Kerry did. Much of the insurgency says that the US has lost the war, just like Harry Reid said.
Perhaps it doesn't scare other people, but it scares me that those who want to lead our country are so closely aligned ideologically with those who want to kill us!! Perhaps they don't understand that Al-Sadyr and the bunch want to kill all of us, whether we agree with them or not. But, I find it unconscionable that some people could get behind a peson or group of people whose words match those of the people who try to kill us.
No one would have voted for someone during 1944 who agreed with Hitler and said we should leave WWII, but some people today will vote for those who agree with those who want to kill us.
If Al Sadr says Americans should not jump off of the bridge, I am assuming all the Republicans will jump.

So Bush gets a free pass for doing nothing during those 9 months? You just proved why we should fear a republican in office. The attacks happened 9 months after Bush got into office. During that time, he was on vacation most of the time and didn't even bother to look at the intelligence. You can't be more irresponsible than that. It dosen't take 9 months to replace the staff. Interesting, that during Clinton's time, there was never a disaster with the magnitude of 9/11 even with that bogus information.Quote:

I also noticed how you couldn't process a siple post without foul language. If you have something substantive to say, you wouldn't have to resort to foul language just to have something to post.
