Big, trolls purposefully make false or provocative statements (e.g., "people love working at K-Mart"), for the sake of goading you into a reaction. That's troll behavior.

Big I read the whole article. Sounds like manhattan democrats and liberal unions made sure walmart didn't get to nyc. I mean, that's exactly what the article says. And they take a quote from the head of the Union bashing Walmart. Hardly an authority or as if he doesn't have a vested interest in walmarts demise. Cmon Big I know you are more of a critical thinker than this. It goes on to say in chicago they had THOUSANDS of applicants signing up. It also basically says new york is to stylish for white trash walmart. There is that compassionate, non-discriminating liberal philosophy in action

if you are morally or ethically opposed to a company's policies, "What the hell are you doing working there??" Have some freaking accountability or get a different job it's a free country. sheesh.

I know it is hard for you to believe being a freaking elitist wannabe, but, in fact, people do appreciate working for a living and earning a modest wage. you are too busy judging and thumbing your nose to realize it.

And it is funny that as long as someone (BIG) toes your liberal-anti-capitalist-usa-are-pigs philosophy they are not a 'troll'. But god forbid if I call you simpletons out on it, I am a 'troll'.

    Opposing views not welcome here.

    God the sweet irony.

And this is why often those that work for corporations at top positions are either unethical or ignorant people that are driven by a paycheck.

the overwhelming, vast majority of "corporations" are not corrupt. These are the facts. Enron gets busted and your ilk decide to get out a broadstroke and start painting.

That is what I mean by not being a rational, logical, critical thinker, Big. Your worldview is sophomoric.

Of course not. Corruption is only a matter of what laws in a capitalistic country define it. Is it corruption to make disproportionate bonuses as a top executive in a corporation? American laws might say no. I say yes.

    matclone,

Its more fun to expose Ignatius' lack of thought than call him a troll. I let posters read our discussion and decide who is the troll. That is Democracy!

You don't seem to mind Tom Cruise making 100million dollars for a couple movies. And he doesn't have 20,000 employees like WalMart.

So what is up with that? It's okay for some people to get loaded for providing a service, but not others?

Who is the one that is a stupid hypocrite again?
