In Russia every year I was in school we had mandatory free visits to physicians and dentists as per school policy every six months.

Big you continue to make assumptions, which you have neither, nor can you prove. Truth is, Federal IRS guidelines require non profits, including churches to provide you their tax information, your claims could be easily proven if you cared to check our facts as opposed to assumptions. The sad thing is you throw everyone into the same category when the reality is, that is not the case, and is not the facts. But then again, when did those facts really matter to you? You make assumptions here for example, when I have gladly offered to give some level of help to some group you support, but you continue to speak in oduble speak, never really addressing the issues. You speak of communist concepts, but truth is, you don't support them, in reality you seem to be a selfish individual wanting things your way, or no way. That must make for a sad and miserable life in that you will never find any measure of happiness. I find that rather sad in fact, but as you illustrate, this is a life you have chosen. Your Bad!

Frankly, I don't have respect for people who refuse to look at reality, it is like arguing about whether or not Elvis is alive or dead. There are certainly issues where debate is appropriate, as mentioned earlier, whether Jesus is the Messiah or not is certainly open for debate, whether he lived or not is another story. Whether some churches take advantage of people, or some Christians are self serving is certainly open for debate, whether they all do though is a broad generalization that is absurd. That is okay though, spend time there if you want, but I find it more humerous than serious, not because the issues aren't worth addressing, but because your assumptions and comments show and indicate that in reality, you have no desire to change things. It kind of reminds me of the spoiled kid in the grocery store who cries and pitches a fit because they don't get their way, thankfully most children can, and do learn, that after a while, they can cry all they want, they won't get the snickers bar they wanted.

Here is my question though, you preach your own game, your own thoughts. What have you actually done though besides post on a wrestling forum your thoughts? In other words, what are you actually doing to make the world, in your way, a better place? I could make assumptions to the answer to that question, but in reality, I wouldn't be much better than you if I did so, except I believe in letting my life, my actions speak for themselves, I also believe in letting them be an open book for others to openly criticize and evaluate. But you, you like making assumptions. I refuse to adhere to what you may ASSuMe though, I must be from Missouri, you have to show me.

Big, I was just trying spark some thought. You have the right to not believe anything in history. But he is mentioned as a historical figure regardless. There would be little to make me think his existance was any less realistic than Alexander the Great, Julius Ceasar, Marcus Aurellius etc...

As far as healthcare, what matters more are the visits when you need it. Periodical visits are not hard to accomplish. That is where a privatized healthcare system can give better service. Now if we wind up with some sort of Hillary care (I hope we do not) there. But the poor have free healthcare here anyhow.

Why even bother with you? All the other fellows were at least written about when they lived. This Christ figure was made up and bolstered by St. Paul and others some 50-100 years later after his supposed death. Then, all dissenters were killed off during crusades. The winners wrote the history books. Little to give you? Give me a break. Your Christ glorification is nothing but lunacy.

As for poor and health care, I presented you an article that points to much trouble. You have ignored it. Ok, everything is nice in your cave. Carry on.

Wrong Big. The earliest historical account of Alexander the Great was written 400 years after his death and it was based off of word of mouth. This account is considered to be very reliable due to the oral tradition of the time.

Ok, so in that case I don't believe in absolute accuracy of the history of Alexander either but at least his character is not as controversial as Christ's.

    Big,

    Merry Christmas!!!!

Today my Knights of Columbus council delivered complete Christmas dinners to 50 families identified in our parish as in need. These people did not and do not choose the situation that they are currently in. They've simply fallen on hard times and are doing the best they can with what they have. We're just trying to help them in some way in the spirit of the season. This is just one of dozens of philanthropies we carry out. I know it's not solving the countries problems like you seem to think the government can. However, instead of just b1tching about it on a wrestling board, I'm actually out doing something about it. I don't expect you to do anything though. You're too busy cutting things down to even think about building something up.

So, Merry Christmas!!!! Let there be peace on Earth, and let it begin with me!

Jewish/Roman historian Josephus, during the lifetime of the Apostles writes "The Complete Works of Josephus" BOOK XVIII 'Antiquities of the Jews' CHAPTER III, paragraph 3. "Now, there was about this time, Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, -- a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews, and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ; and when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men amongst us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at first did not forsake him, for he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold..."

Next thing Berean will tell us Dec 25th is definitely the day Christ was born.
