That was me, and that's what I believe. If you think racism doesn't exist in America, well, its probably because you're white, and you hear messages all the time that we're supposed to resent such ideas, and of course it doesn't comport with our own sense of fair play. But it exists. I'm not saying race is the only factor for white flight but it is a factor and has been a factor for the last 50 years. Quite often people will rationalize their 50 mile one way commutes by saying "it's the schools". Times are changing, but I think it's silly when white people declare implicitly or otherwise, that we don't have a race problem in America. Part of this is based on my conclusion that all of us are very much affected by history, and even though we may not have lived in the 50s or 60s, or earlier, our parents and all the other adults we grew up with and influenced us did.

Never mind. I looked it up. She represents the 6th District and she lives in Stillwater (Minn.) (97% white--non-Hispanic)--a wealthy suburb of the Twin Cities.

    politics:

    demographics:
    http://www.city-data.com/city/Stillwater-Minnesota.html

Mean prices in 2007: All housing units: $317,694; Detached houses: $332,537; Townhouses or other attached units: $270,604.

In recent decades, there has been a good deal of new housing development on the outskirts of the city, and there is a substantial population that commutes daily to the Twin Cities.

You don't what party they belong to or what ideals black business owners have.
Use are making suppositions based on your logic.
Do you have facts or statistics to back this up?

May we please have many more of these people in Congress like Bachmann. We already have way too many screwballs like Pelosi, Reed, Frank, and Cox.

    News flash -
Pelosi, Reed, Barney, and "Sweet Deal" Cox are not Republicans. And just to make sure you are not confused, Obama isn't either.

    NEWSFLASH -

I was agreeing about the part about electing more people like Bachman.

And just to make sure you aren't confused, that WILL marginalize the GOP even more than they already are.
