    Default Beware Of Yoga

This weirdo has been surfacing at a school in our area. My point of posting this isn't so much about the guy and his "ministry," but about one of the quotes from one of the supporters of him. No, I couldn't make this up.

"Most of the people at the library said they agreed with much of Dean’s presentation. One woman said his message should be in the schools to counter other teachings.
'Is it the school’s job to talk about homosexuality and how it’s OK?' said one woman. 'I said to people this would happen when they started bringing in yoga and stuff like that — slippery slope'.”

Here's a link to the whole article. Controversial ministry returns to Dunkerton

I can tell you from personal experience living in California that yoga does a (female) body good. I'm all for it and I encourage chubbies of all ages to partake.

I've done Yoga before but they kicked me out of class as my Kundalini kept falling out .

    Flop,
The Kundalini is the coiled serpent which resides in your spine - supposedly the life force to some and also a power to be harnassed , never unleashed . I was an avid advocate of Yoga and Gymnastics to improve my wrestlers self discipline and flexibility .

Ever since I started doing it, and then learning what yoga is, I've been stunned that more coaches don't implement it into regular workouts.

The increased flexibility, strength, and balance alone make yoga the perfect wrestler's workout.

I actually started using it because I'm an avid golfer, and as I've gotten older, my flexibility was going by the wayside. Since doing it, I hit the ball farther than I have in years, and my overall swing has improved.

Hence Tantric Yoga. Got my masters in that; last lifetime.

I'm a fairly regular yoga "practitioner." Wednesdays are yoga days, and I do 20 minute sessions three days a week, mainly after I run.

I got hooked on it because of how much flexibility I've gained (I used to be SUPER inflexible, now I'm 100% more flexible), and it also helps build a lot of natural, functional strength and balance. Best fitness thing I've done in my life.

Moza Fay is one of the only wrestlers that I know of who is a regular practitioner, which helps with his flexibility.

    Ban,
the problem I encountered with Yoga was ALWAYS from parents . They thought I was teaching some Eastern Mysticism or ?? . so I switched to having my guys take at least a summer of gymnastics .
