Again we arent debating other presidents and just so you know I never supported Bush and that is a fact I have maintained for years even here. When we are talking about the tax increase in the healthcare bill individual mandate is what I am reffering to. And it is exactly what Justice Roberts called and it and what allowed to it to be upheld as law. So it was an expansion of governemtn into the private sector and the lives of the american people while also being a tax on everyone.

When it comes to the NDAA it had a provision for indefinite detention of american citizens which was struck down in court as unconstitutional.

It also used to be you would get a student loan from a bank, now we ge them or at least I do directly from the government and I pay them.

If you want to talk about consolidation, Obama has said he would like to consolidate agencies but has yet to do so, to my knowledge. In terms of the war on terror I think he has done a fine job. In terms of immigration I think beside the deportaion numbers he has done little and with the signing of the DREAM act I liek the direction he is heading.

I apologise I thought that the EPA had already had it new oversight for new carbon regulations but apparently that has been pushed back due to the fact that it would cost businesses tons of money.
So, in other words, NDAA isn't happening, right? Why, then, did you claim that it is?

As for Fedrul financial aid, first off, why did I get one of my student loans through the Fedril gubment during the 1990's if it is a "new program?" You do understand that the Fedril gubment has been in the student loan bidness since the 1960's, right? Higher Education Act

So in other words Obama talked about consolidating overlapping gov agencies but didn't. But he did sign a law that allowed u.s citizens to detained indefinitely.

I thought that during a war on terror that certain freedoms would simply have to be sacrificed to "save the republic?" That's no longer the case!? Well, it was certainly the case here.

Regarding Obama proposing to make gubment smaller (consolidation), he has to take it before Congress, and this article will show you that regressives (republicans) are "suspicious" of his motives. Hence, sounds like yet another example of stonewalling and filibustering, in hopes that America fails, which they are sworn to. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/14/us...pagewanted=all

How do I know that they are sworn to see America fail?

Speaking of the Supreme Court ruling, I was just minutes ago listening to comedian/party boss Rush I Want Gubment To Pay For My Internet Porn Limbaugh crying and moaning that it was THE MEDIA who bullied the Supreme Court justices into voting the way that they did!

Don't believe me? Tune in right now in your local areas and hear it for your own ears. It was apparently comedian/party boss Rush I Want Gubment To Pay For My Internet Porn Limbaugh's big a-ha moment over the weekend.

Thank GOD this guy represents the modern regressive movement!

It is really just simple: forcing me to pay $2800 for something I don't want & will never use is just wrong no matter how you slice it. It is reason enough to make me look at leaving the country & not come back until it is repealed.

Obamacare will make it so that cancer patients only have 3 choices :surgery, chemo & radiation. If those are my only choices when you might as well have given me death sentence. FK that. Restricted choices is just fascist.

If you are hit by a car and rushed to an emergency room and have to have extensive care to save your life, who will pay for it?
Based on your posts, I assume that you do not have healthcare now.

Here's 51 members of Congress who will definitely want to keep their Obamacare!

Speaking of which, my wife and I were talking the other day about the term "Obamacare" having a negative connotation to it. Assuming that it ends of being wildly successful and people like it, as they do Medicare and Medicaid, I wonder if regressives will seek to (1) change their stigmatized name of the program and/or (2) suddenly take responsibility for its passage?
