    Default Romney is something else

How do you BUILD strong two parent families? Do you assign them to stay together for life by the government order?

At a town hall-style event in Clinton, a woman asked for his position on helping families with children get access to health care, and on children's issues in general.

In response, Romney talked about building strong, two-parent families and keeping jobs in the U.S. so people can stay employed. He noted the health care system that was put in place in Massachusetts when he was governor has helped families with children.

That health care system in Massachusetts is very similar to the one Hillary Clinton in proposing...

Weren't you raised solely by your Mother?

Why would that stop him from having an opinion?

I have perfectly moral and atheist mother and father who are present and have been happily married for the past 38 years. Thank you very much for asking!

Nobody is perfectly moral. But I am sure your Mother is very close. And no I am not trying to be a smart ass.

Apparently my parents are more moral than 50% of American families, 25% of Evangelical families and 75% of Hollywood families.

How do you come about statistics like that, Big? Or was that a "factoid" as per earlier definition? How'd that go again - something about being a cross between a fact and a hemorrhoid.

There's no possible way to come up with those numbers -- morals are subjective. Morals change from one person to the next, kind of like taste in food, music, clothes, etc. If I recall from my sociology class (years ago), morals are guidelines for actions that we carry out that are based on our personal values. Since our values can differ from one person to the next, so too can our morals.

If morals are subjective, no objective numbers can be obtained regarding adherence to or disention from them. Those numbers are just made up.
