Smedley Darlington Butler (July 30, 1881 ? June 21, 1940), nicknamed "The Fighting Quaker" and "Old Gimlet Eye", was a Major General in the U.S. Marine Corps, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history. During his 34-year career as a Marine, he participated in military actions in the Philippines, China, in Central America and the Caribbean during the Banana Wars, and France in World War I. By the end of his career he had received 16 medals, five of which were for heroism. He is one of 19 people to twice receive the Medal of Honor, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal and the Medal of Honor, and the only person to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.
In addition to his military achievements, he served as the Director of Public Safety in Philadelphia for two years and was an outspoken critic of U.S. military adventurism. In his 1935 book War is a Racket, he described the workings of the military-industrial complex and, after retiring from service, became a popular speaker at meetings organized by veterans, pacifists and church groups in the 1930s.
In 1934 he was involved in a controversy known as the Business Plot when he told a congressional committee that a group of wealthy industrialists had approached him to lead a military coup to overthrow Franklin D. Roosevelt. The individuals that were involved denied the existence of a plot, and the media ridiculed the allegations. The final report of the committee stated that there was evidence that such a plot existed, but no charges were ever filed. The opinion of most historians is that while planning for a coup was not very advanced, wild schemes were discussed.
Butler continued his speaking engagements in an extended tour but in June 1940 checked himself into a naval hospital, dying a few weeks later from what was believed to be cancer. He was buried at Oaklands Cemetery in West Chester, Pennsylvania; his home has been maintained as a memorial and contains memorabilia collected during his various careers.

Also listed is the BUSINESS PLOT which I had earlier mentioned-where Bush's granddaddy and others tried to overthrow roosevelt.

I thought Hannibal from the A-Team was based on Gritz?

The character of John Rambo is based on the Green Beret, Vietnam war hero Bo Gritz. You may or may not remember when Ronald Reagen was running for president and got Bo Gritz and some other Green Berets to travel back to Vietnam and Cambodia to try to find prisoner camps where soldiers were rumored to have been left behind during the Vietnam war. They never found any prisoner camps, but Bo Gritz did realize that he no longer trusted the government he once served. The experience left Bo Gritz as a conspiracy theorist that no longer believed America was the idealist nation it had been. After this realization he became a ?survivalist? that lived on a remote compound in Wyoming.
This is from some frigging site or another-they start to blend in after a while-

I thought that Rockefeller had negotiated a deal with Roosevelt in order to get the charges dropped. Imagine being approached by the person who was financing a plot to kill you, and then making a deal with him to keep him out of jail? Rockefeller must have swung a big stick.

He owns a large portion of stock in the Federal Reserve of NY. I am sure he is pulling in ton of money using the greatest racket ever sold to the American people.

I look at it like this:

Ugly, KR, Bwh, r.payton, Quinn and myself have a private card game at my house. We all cash in to the designated dealer for chips. We decide collectively what each chip is worth. So we have chips that are redeemable in cash. We start playing for an hour before somebody walks over to our table, knocks all the chips off the table, tells the dealer to hand all the cash out of the box. He tells the players to hand over all the cash out of their pockets. Then he points to a loan shark standing by the door, and explains how we need to borrrow money from him in order play with interest.
How do we not beat the piss out of this dude?

Their family net worth is now so split all over the place. They are probably worth a Trillion if you added it all up. David Rockefeller was not even listed in Fortune's top 10. He is listed at about #25 or something. It's BS.

Rockefeller, Ford and the Secret History of Alcohol

There's a secret history regarding alcohol that you won't hear on the six o'clock news:

    • Cars and everything else running on internal combustion engines can run on alcohol at least as well as they can run on gasoline. Indeed, engines were built back in 1870 that could run using either alcohol or gasoline

    • A New York Times article from 1908 (and here) enthusiastically states:
"Autoists Discuss Alcohol As Fuel; Great Future Ahead For Use In Commercial Wagons, Says Prof. Lucke. Tests With Motor Truck E.R. Hewitt Tells Engineers Of His Results With Gasoline And Alcohol In Same Engine"
    • Henry Ford said that alcohol was "a cleaner, nicer, better fuel for automobiles than gasoline" (James Brough, The Ford Dynasty: An American Story, p. 118, and cited in "Ford - The Men and the Machine", p. 365). The Model T Ford had a knob right on the dashboard to adjust the fuel-air mixture for either alcohol or gas

    • Alcohol does not corrode or shorten the lifespan of modern cars, and an inexpensive adjustment to regular cars will make them run smoothly and inexpensively on alcohol
So if alcohol can provide a cheaper and better fuel than alcohol, why doesn't anyone talk about it today?

Well, John D. Rockefeller, under the ruse of Christian temperance, gave 4 million dollars to a group of old ladies and told them to fight for Prohibition (they successfully used the money to buy off Congress). Why? Rockefeller owned Standard Oil, the main company pushing gas as an alternative fuel to alcohol. By getting Congress to pass Prohibition laws, Rockefeller eliminated his competition. And see this.

Moreover, those in the know actually are using alcohol as a fuel today. For example, there are many millions of cars being driven in Brazil that run on alcohol.

And many government and car fleets are actually required to be able to run on either alcohol or gas. The car companies simply forgot to tell the American consumer that these kind of cars are available. See this and this.
