Anybody watch it? It was surprising that my TV didn't explode from all the egos involved. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that the only purpose of the guest is to prove that Bill O'Reilly is right about everything. There really is no conversation. Jesse tried a few times to finish his own sentences and he had to fight to do it. It was just weird. I don't think I'll do that again.

And that was exactly the same result of his interview of Ron Paul, the transcript which was posted here.

O'Reilly is good comedy at best, ego-maniacal is putting it mildly. Its okay though as he creates good counter-balance in the universe.

Jesse Jackson gets plenty of opportunities throughout the course of a day to talk any way.

O'Reilly is such a douche. I don't know how anyone can stand to watch him.

What did they "attempt" to talk about. Both are egotistical blowhards.

That is quite a duo... They both serve their purpose well- bill to push extreme right wing propaganda and jesse to turn absolutely everything into a racial issue or hate crime.

I watched it. I thought it was ok. Bill wanted Jesse to say he wasn't a racist and that what it was about for much of the conversation. I haven't listened to the audio so I can't make a call on it. But I do know if you take all the other media outlets for it you are going to get the most sensationalist view point possible. (Fox is guilty of that too) I like Bill but I tend to lean to the right. They also talked about the Jena 6 and the fact the 75% of young blacks grow up with out fathers. I wouldn't call myself on expert on either subject but I enjoyed their conversation. O'Reilly is popular because he says what he thinks and he thinks he is right most of the time. He is paid to do that. I guess compared to Rush or Savage he seems more in the middle of the road to me.

OReilly's schtick is obviously acting, not a genuine expression of what he thinks (that would be too complicated for his regular audience). I cant' believe anyone takes his show seriously and it's a sad reflection on Fox "news" (and American news channels in general).

I see he was making it all about whether he was a racist (who give a F?), instead of addressing racism in America (which I assume Jackson wanted to talk about).
