Big, I have no doubt what you're saying. And I'd say it's fair to draw comparisons between Bushisms and Hitlerisms, if they are given some context and not just used for the purpose of smearing Bush (ala the sort of technique frequently used on talk radio).

I'd guess many leaders in modern history have invoked "freedom" as a justification for going to war (FDR maybe?). The question it seems is whether the war is otherwise justified. I'd also wonder how, to what extent, propaganda was used and that's probably what you're making an argument for here.

I knew nothing about the Iraq situation in 2003 or makeup of the country. I believed Bush in 2003. If I did, I am sure millions of other Americans did as well. Only after invasion did I start reading extensively on the issue.

Let's not over look one obvious difference between Nazi Germany and the Bush era.

We can vote Bush's ass out of office along with others who follow this policies if we choose.

Those under Hitler's rule didn't have this option.

    You gotta love freedom!

    Quite different from Hitler, IMO.

If anyone has similarities to Hitler, it was Saddam.
Are you suggesting that someone other than Bush (i.e, 40+ nations) had a hand in conceiving and carrying out the invasion of Iraq? I find this sort of argument rather disingenuous. As much as I know, it was Bush's baby. It was all his plan, not anyone elses. The fact that Congress or other nations signed on (after he arguably bullied them into doing so) does not mean that there was a widespread consensus that we should go to war.

How was Sadaam playing games with nuclear weapons? I didn't know he had any? More to the point, how was he a threat to the U.S.?

Everybody except the Dixie Chicks and the French supported the invasion. (remember Freedom Fries).

We (well not me, I voted for Kerry) were so much behind the invasion, we voted Bush back for a second term.

No. Everyone was not for the invasion. There were widespread public protests in the U.S. and Europe and many leading world figures questioned the plan. It was quite controversial even in the U.S. That view changed after, and only after, we actually invaded Iraq in March, 2003.

He was a Clinton hold over.

Director of CIA who claimed Saddam had WMDs and strongly supported the invasion.
