I got that but as you can see that if we went by my answers that some poll reader might assume that I was a white southern male conservative christian when I am not. So getting beliefs from just polls doesn't always paint the full picture. My Dad was a Sociology Prof @ PSU. I used here this stuff all the time.

I understand but based on those poll and those polls only what would you have answered. Leave your personal beliefs about of it or what you think you might want to say. Answer the question that is asked. There is no trick with the question, it is simply to see if the poll data could be misunderstood or if the poll data is pretty clear. It has nothing to do with the actual beliefs, just the polls and what they say.

No it is supposed to ask what do the provided polls say about the beliefs of America. It has nothing to do with your opinion about American beliefs. When you read the polls provided what conclusion do you come to then answer the questions accordingly. Perhaps I was not clear

You asked about the wording of your questions and I do have one to point out:

Believe in what the Bible teaches is open to interpation.
The Bible teaches a lot of things:
There are the "how to be good" parts, such as turn the other cheek and thou shall not kill, which I in general believe in.
And then there are the God parts, which teach about belief and worship of a higher being which I don't accept.

Again the polll is not a reflection of what you personaly believe, it is supposed to be a reflection of what the polls provided indicate.
