The Fox news commentary however is undeniably right and probably to the same degree as CNN's commentary is to the left. MSNBC's commentary exceeds all other sources on stridency.

I am curious how you can feel you can make definitive judgements on something as subjective as political bias of news commentators, especially considering your own conversative bias.

Many people on the left feel that the main stream news have a strong corporate bias (which tends to be conservative) and use the reasoning that they are owned by big corporation (GE, Disney) and are protecting their own interests.

I personally think guys like O'Reilly & Hannity are just brainwashed & brainwashing the American public into supporting a war that costs us 275 million per day (& those were 2005 figures) & makes companies like GE & other defense contractors BILLIONS in gross income.

Guys like Napolitano actually use US law & logic when presenting an argument.

Maybe your lefty friends are more grounded, but many truly believe that main stream media have a conservative bent and if you listen to their arguments there is logic there. I got these with a quick google search on corporate media bias:

Disney owns ABC so we wonder how the board of Disney reacts to negative news about their board of directors friends such as Halliburton or Boeing. We see board members with connections to Ford, Kraft, and Kimberly-Clark who employ tens of thousands of Americans. Is it possible that the U.S. workforce receives only the corporate news private companies want them to hear? Do we collectively realize that working people in the U.S. have longer hours, lower pay and fewer benefits than their foreign counterparts? If these companies control the media, they control the dissemination of news turning the First Amendment on its head by protecting corporate interests over people.

I personally find these arguments tiresome and somewhat paranoid, which is similar to how I find people ranting about liberal bias of the media.
