This was kind of an awkward and strange moment. Even more curious in light of the criticism that McCain took for avoiding eye contact with Obama during their first debate. I'm surprised because I wouldn't expect this type of behavior from someone presenting them self as an honorable military man who want's to be the president.

It is true that the vid does not show both candidates shaking hands on stage immediately at the conclusion of the debate (before Tom Bokaw said they were blocking his teleprompter). However, everyone knows that those on stage pre and post debate handshakes are essentially photo opps. Post debate exchanges on the floor are customary and are usually considered less formal and slightly more personal (not to suggest that they can not also be used as photo opps). The fact is, McCain withdrew his hand from Obama's, then deferred the handshake to his wife. It just wasn't a classy move no matter what.

When he "slaps" Obama on the back, he really is stabbing him with a sharply point object!
If McCain had any class, he would have stabbed him in the front instead of in his back.

I'm not joking. Someone actually tried to convince me of this.

No way I could vote for a man who would do something so totally dispicable. I always base my voting decisions on 35 second video clips.
