In all honesty and however sad it may be there are some who are polled that wont vote for Obama. They say they will but there is a base of people that just wont vote for a black guy or wont say they wont because they want to be PC. This does hurt McCain a little but I believe this will be close election.

McCain booed for calling Obama "decent"
On Friday during a town hall-style meeting in Lakeville, Minn., a supporter told McCain that he feared what would happen if Obama were elected. McCain drew boos when he defended his rival as a "decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27130171

The election is in November and this race has been as volatile as the stock market. | No actually, Kerry had the slimmest of leads this week at this time in 2004, he then lost that lead the next week, and it went downhill from there. As someone who checks out the various electoral maps daily (I am a but of a political junkie) this election turned distinctly to Obama about two weeks ago, went the markets started to melt down, and has solidified in his favor.
Another problem McCain has - besides having less money - is North Carolina, Virginia, and Colorado are in play now. Along with the usual in play states. Then there is New Mexico which used to be a swing state but is blue now (the Republicans with the racist tint of the immigration debate have lost Hispanics in a big way).
Anyhow, here are a couple of the "Maps" that I look at a lot. The first one you can just run your cursur over the state and get the results (they average several polls). The other one "RealClearPolitics" tends to lean right if that is more comfortable for you. http://www.electoral-vote.com/ http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epo...ama_vs_mccain/

I should take offence to that but I won't beings we are from the same town.
I was at this town meeting when they booed or groaned as I would call it. It was short lived and turned out to be a pretty good speech. Did'nt think too highly of the response myself. I'm still undecided but being 5 miles from my house I had to go. I tell you what was fun to watch were the protesters. Unbelievable
