    Default Black USDA official resigns

A black USDA official in Georgia has resigned after publicly admitting she didn't help a white man some 24 years ago trying to save his farm to the "full force" of her power and instead referred him to "one of his own."

NAACP blasts her and supports the call for her resignation then backpedals.

White House calls her 3 times and tells her to resign. The last time told her to pull over and resign immediately because she would be on Glenn Beck that night (yesterday).

So, she said that that guy was trying to talk a lot to prove he was superior. She didn't want to help him because he was white. Now, she resigns for her comments and he defends her. Sounds to me like she's the one who thought she was superior. That is why I don't like any organization that focuses on color first, whether it be white, black, brown or whatever. IMO, she sounds like the racist.

Have you seen the full video of what she said? or just the clip that the race-baiters have been circulating online?
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

Even in the whole clip she still sounded like she thought she was "superior" at the time it was taking place (twenty odd years ago)....her message though came across as she learned that it is not about race (in the longer version).

Obama (again) and the media (again) are taking this one directly on the chin. Knee jerk reactions to limited details.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

I am just glad I am not someone where everything I say is scrutinized beyond belief.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

It should be ". . . someone for whom everything I say is scrutinized beyond belief."

    Yep.

Pretty harsh to be fired for something you said or did 24 years ago.

Race is always a fun topic here. Everything from white guilt to race baiters. Both sides are represented in every thread.
