Palin's folksy style may play well with Alaskans and middle class Americans, but it won't be too impressive on the international scene. I think that in the debate, she came off as a nice person who was well coached, but is in over her head and not vice-Presidential material.
That said, I'm still undecided (but leaning right).

Biden had the better grasp of specifics and tended to drone on, Palin was the more charismatic speaker and could have given a few more details. She looked like she was trying to play up the "everywoman" part while Biden was trying to play up his experience.
One part I found a little creepy... when Joe Biden was asked how a Biden Presidency would play out, first said it would be a "national tragedy" or something... then he gave this long, excited spiel about how awesome it would be. Made me think he was secretly hoping Obama would win and then die

In the bits and pieces that I paid attention to all I was really doing was rooting for one of them to screw up and say something dumb. Didn't much matter to me which one either.
However neither one did, hence the boringness.

The woman is a walking run-on sentence.

I almost literally cannot bring myself to end a word using "ing," I always end in "in."
However, I'm just of the opinion that the VP ought to try to pronounce words a bit more correctly than folks like me.
