Gee, maybe because I don't trust government.

Or maybe you just don't really care like you say you do.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

I mean when I lived overseas I made a living but I didnt break the law. I ran my own business so no one employed me. I didn't have to worry about being deported. I got all the proper visas so I could travel FOR BUSINESS in some 30 different countries. It is not hard to do.

    Whoopee for you.

Yea figured you would answer like that...
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

For people to just blatantly break the law & then cry about the consequences is just someone who failed to look at the fact that life has some rules & those rules have a sequence.

    That's nice.

    Good non-answer.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
There so many immigrants who DO follow the rules but somehow the law breakers are special? Sorry. Doesn't fly.

I just worry about those kids.... that is what is in front of me. The rest of it; not my problem. Remember my world view is to worry about what is in front of me. Screw the rest. I quit trying to "save the world" after all of those weeks in the hospital, and all of those months nursing a brain injured and crippled child back to health. If you want to "save the world" knock yourself out.

Well then you won't mind if some of us do handle it. And if they get deported I am glad to know you are good with it.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

    And there you go...

No, you wasted your own time...... nobody forces your to read or respond to anybody.

If someone asks me a Q I try to be polite & give them an answer. I don't ignore them unless they blatantly deserved to be ignored.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you didn't want to have a dialogue then why bother to post anything. That just makes what you wrote somehow seem personally derogatory towards me for some other unexplained reason or vindictive. I would like to think better of you on that but then I am just going off your words.

I don't know you, and you live a long ways away from me, so I could careless about you one way in the real world, and really don't care what you think about me.

Then again you even wasted my time by asking me to give you an answer. Disingenuous.

Btw I have a home in Nevada where I was all last year AND I have a business iN Cali with my brother so I am a lot closer then you think.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said if you think that some of illegals you personally know are truly wonderful people that's great. Then take personal responsibility for them & help them become LEGAL citizens. Real simple. TO say what you have & then NOT help them would be disingenuous

These people have often been here for decades and do pretty good. They are also adults and can take care of themselves. Maybe you are the type that want to get into other peoples business but I'm not.

Then why even bring them into the conversation? Pointless.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

A majority of the immigrants here have done so LEGALLY. I have no idea WHY anyone would want to single out a group as being ABOVE the law. That violates the rights of everyone & clears the way for law enforcement to start applying laws arbitrarily. THIS is not what we want as a freedom loving people.

I have a news flash for you...... lots of laws are enforced arbitrarily. From traffic laws to drug laws to these laws. This issue, and these laws just seems to be a hobby of yours. Cool - we all need hobbies.

I guess nobody ever told you that two wrongs don't make a right???
    that's all folks..

As are all of us. I've never met a fully law abiding person in my life. In fact, I just broke the law twice today, which I do daily: I sped on the way to work, and did a rolling stop at a stop sign.

Derned criminal that I am, but at least I admit it.

    Yup, that too

    Good non-answer.

    Thank you.

Well then you won't mind if some of us do handle it.

    Enjoy.

And if they get deported I am glad to know you are good with it.

You are confusing "not caring" and "being good with it". To help you out; when one doesn't care it is neither good nor bad. At best is would be called ambivilent.

If someone asks me a Q I try to be polite & give them an answer. I don't ignore them unless they blatantly deserved to be ignored.

Then you wasted your own time and I had nothing to do with it. It is a personal responsibilty thing...... I am rather surprised you don't understand this concept since it seems to be a favorite subject of yours.

Then again you even wasted my time by asking me to give you an answer. Disingenuous.

    See the above response.

You brought them into this conversation, I was talking about thei kids.

I guess nobody ever told you that two wrongs don't make a right???

You were whining about "Laws" so I was just pointing out the realities. Sometimes laws don't get enforced and sometimes life is not fair. Now if you find that perfect society let me know. In the meantime in my life I will take care of what is in front of me and (apparently) annoy folks like you.

Well Scott you asked for an answer & then I give you an answer & then you tell don't care about me or my opinion.

This is just a game and I am enjoying playing it.

Seems fairly contradictory & antagonistic, like you have a chip on yer shoulder OR you are trying to pick a fight instead of actually having an intelligent discussion and/or argument.

If this is the way you view me; cool. I gave up attempting to defend myself.

Just like they used to require of state workers in California under Prop 187! Wouldn't that be fun to resurrect?

it is hiliarous that people just want to overlook criminal activity.

I would be willing to bet ban than you would be willing to take the consequences for your actions also.

It is also hillarious that certain illegal activities get more attention then other illegal activities. It is as though some illegal activities are more 'special' than others. I bet an awful lot of the people crying law and order break all kinds of laws here and there; but of course they will deny it.
