This will economically cause a long term impact to the state that will further deepen their financial woes. It's a bad law all the way around. What they should have done was look in the mirror and get their two Hell No senators to get off their ass and try to get some bipartisan legislation in the Congress.
It's easy to say No, it's a little bit of work to say Yes and get solutions.
BTW, what's that BS speed enforcement camera deal you guys have? Another way for Big Gov to control you. They snapped a pic of me on 93 a couple of months ago and I haven't gotten the ticket yet??
As far as the Immigration law goes, I guess @ this point will have to see who ends up being right on it. My friends tell me that already the number of illegals has dropped in Tucson. However my friends in Denver tell me that they didn't go home, they moved to Colorado!
I don't live in AZ but have a house in Laughlin, NV, right on the border. There is NOTHING in Laughlin except casinos so if you want any decent food you have to go to AZ. I know about the traffic cams. I have not seen any in Bullhead or Mojave, (a res). I think that they are only in Maricopa county. But I had the same thing happen to me. I had a cam flash & never got a ticket.
It is worse in the UK. There just about is NOWHERE where there is not a cam. You are under surveillance ALL the TIME.
I understand the general problem with illegal immigration, but this seems tailor made for racial-profiling. Part of being an American is civil liberties, and it's a more important part, to me, then the illegal immigration problem. So, to me, you take a hit on illegal immigration if it means protecting civil liberties, not the other way around.
Confidence in yourself is the first step on the road to success.kinah
I am 49, bald, ugly, and don't own a single cool thing. Kids like me though.
I like all sports. I played most of 'em and they were a great way to meet new new people and make some great friends. Of course, now I probably couldn't even jump and touch the net. Depressing.
