Wow! I came in late, but I would like to put in my two cents. First off, to GNP, the 46 million you are refering to includes illegals and I shouldn't have to pay one dime for them.

For Sgallan who admits that he runs up bills and doesn't pay them, you should be in jail instead of bragging about how you are wasting MY money. I don't know how you could look at yourself in the mirror every day knowing you are a punk. You should be ashamed!

I know a lot of people make fun of KR because of his scientology beliefs. I don't agree with the spiritual side of it either, but if you wipe away the fact that he is a scientologist and look at health care, he makes a lot of sense. Just look at the commercials tonight and count how many drug commercials there are and how many preventitive commercials there are. What's sad is that there has to be a "get moving" campaign to get kids to go out and play. Fat kids become fat adults who become a drain on healthcare.

As far as coverage overall, I think not dropping pre-existing conditions is good as long as the person has been paying for coverage all their life. For the 20 somethings who think they are invincible and don't pay for several years, don't jump on my coverage once you get sick. Unless, they pay a higher rate until all those years of non payment are made up. We should also be able to pick what coverage we want. For instance, my wife and I can't have any more kids so why do we have to pitch in for maternity care that won't benefit us? Same thing about drug rehab. We should be able to exclude those from our coverage since they don't apply and that should lower our rates.

So many issues with your repsonse...First of all if you have not read past posts about Scott's situation, you are out of line criticizing. Should he not gone to get care for his daughter when it appear she was near death. He had insurance and even with insurance he could not even come close to paying his bills. So he continued to get care for his daughter and let the bills stack. Waht would be your suggestion?

As far as drug companies and there commercials, they are in it for profit and will advertise in order to increase profit. What would you suggest? Government mandated preventative health programs / commercials?

Your thoughts about picking and choosing insurance coverage do nothing to lower the overall cost of health insurance, which is the key to real reform.

So if a 20 something elects not to get health insurance and he gets sick he won't get treated until he makes up all the payments? So a young guy who has a car accident is going to be left outside the hospital until he catches up on insurance payments.
This also would do little to encourage healthy people to buy insurance. If they don't get sick, they end up ahead and worse case if they do get sick they have to make upp the payments and wind up even.

    You're balls out nuts.

That said, I'm glad you can't have more kids. It's one less wingnut in the future.

Scott...... how is Reni doing? have not heard any updates recently. maybe i missed them in another post.

Ugly, your fearmongering idea that we will have another recession come 2013 shows you also are balls out nuts.

Maybe you can predict Obama's assassination because that is a real fear many of us have? You teabaggers are balls out nuts and nothing would surprise me.

Seems like you teabaggers all feel controlled. Just wait till the gubmint comes to take your property and your arsenal of weapons. I heard about that at the communist party meeting we had last night with Pelosi in her district office.

Next comes the black helo's and microchips.
