1- If UFOs aren't real, then Scientology is wrong. We all know that can't be, so that solves that.
2- Pretty funny of you Ugly demanding proof that is taught in universities, knowing your stand on evolution which is taught in every accredited university in every first world country in the world.
Proof for theories and proof for a being are different in this case. IF you say that Aliens are real then we would need hard evidence of that. Evolution is a theory based our understanding of our history and it could change at any moment. Proof of aliens will either prove them true or not.
There is no proof for aliens, we both know that, and can agree there. And I'll agree that the two aren't exactly the same either, but saying our understanding of evolution could change at any minute is being highly disingenuous. There isn't anything that is going to happen 'at any minute' that is going to refute libraries worth of data in every scientific field known to man, short of God literally coming down from the sky and saying otherwise. Anyways, don't wanna threadjack here, just found the irony of your request humorous, and was bored enough to point it out.
I'm not a scientologist, but I'm of the opinion that there has to be other life in the universe. The sheer number of planets within the universe make it almost mathematically impossible that there are not other life forms somewhere. We're now seeing evidence of water on our moon and on mars, so the possibility of life (or at least previous life) shouldn't be far behind.
Whether there is intelligent life on other planets somewhere in the universe, or whether they have come to Earth and there is a vast conspiracy to cover this up isn't the same question.
