    Default Dinner for 5

Who in history or present would you like to have dinner with?

    Heres mine:

    Jesus- Obvious reasons
    Hitler- Just to ask why
St. Augustine of Hippo- Set himself apart from the church
Teddy Roosevelt- To hear his stories
Martin Luther- ask why he hated the Jews and about the reformation

    Hon. Mention

    Alexander the Great
    Thomas Jefferson
    Cleopatra
    Leonardo Di Vinci

Why am I not surprised by your list. Eventhough Saddam and Bin Laden make me curious as to why.

Stalin: I want to ask him personally what he knew and what he didn't about his impact on lives of Soviet people. I suspect some of the trouble was done either unintentionally or with misguidance of his associates, i.e Beria.

Karl Marx: Talk to him about his views on communism from what we know today.

Bin Laden: Just want to get his side of the story for once.

Hussein: The same as with Bin Laden.

    Big,

Bin Laden has sent us videos stating his side of the story.

I got some questions I want to ask him personally.
I am not so sure he is not friends with Bush even now.

Jesus of Nazarth, Mohammed, Siddhattha Gautama,Moses and Martin Luther King. I would have many questions of course, but the theme (in my mind at least) would be the nature and design of faith vs. free will and how humankind has lived up to the hopes and intentions of these prophets. I would serve wine.

I saw an interview of Groucho by Dick Cavett (from the 70s) recently. Groucho was almost as quick as he appears in his movies, with one pun after another rolling off his tongue.

I'm amazed that anyone would question John Lennon (also a quick and inveterate punster) as a desired guest. Must be a generational thing.

Off topic, but talking about Cavett and Lennon reminds me of Forrest Gump, when he practically writes "Imagine" on live TV.
