Well arm-spin if you want to make TIME magazine the expert of all religions on the world I guess you might come up with that opinion. There are other opinions:

    http://theology.scientology.org/?locale=ja

    http://home.scientology.org/

And there are people who attack religions as well:

TIME mag makes an awful lot of ad revenue from big pharma. And while medicine has a place in our world in handling physical alignments there are those who promote dangerous drugs as the singular answer & make billions of dollars from people while damaging some of them. This documentary shares some of the ways big pharma has been destorying lives.

There are ALWAYS 2 sides to every story, (though it looks like Rusty doesn't want anyone to know that & spends a lot of his time discussing something he doesn't knwo anything about).

    SO
if the subject of the thread is:
Church of Scientology convicted of fraud in France
then maybe one needs to look at why someone wants Scientology to fail as a religion & what are the motives of those people.

If you think that anyone & everyone in any federal government has your best interests at heart all the time I suggest you look again.

But hey, when presented with facts, why not just find a way to blame it on the drug companies? Makes perfect sense.
I can tell Rusty that you don't even bother to discover 2 sides of an issue.

Whether it's wrestling, health care reform, religion you seem to be satisfied with your expertise enough to simply blantantly attack anyone who does not fit within your expected idea of normal & acceptable.

I have yet to see anything remotely approaching a discussion with you.

Well, it's certainly relevant when discussing whether to take you seriously.

Richard Behar went out of his way to dig up disgrutled former members. I do not know of any religion, business, government nor group that satifies all of its members all of the time. Some people like to blame others for their misfortune. Some like to tell lies to be in the spotlight & attack others.

The is another side to that story but TIME doesn't want that side to be know I can assure you.

When did you and I discuss wrestling? I have stated nothing that has not been heavily substantiated. I've left that to you.

Uh, they aren't blaming them for their misfortunes. They are blaming them for conning them out of their money. And if it wasn't true, Time would have been held accountable for libel. The fact that they weren't tells me all I need to know.

lol. If you want another reason to not take him seriously (not that you need one at this point,) check out the health care thread. There's some good stuff from him about Scientology and the quest to crush pharmaceutical companies. Relegate them to the dust bins of history, or something like that.

Well Zapp then why don't you start a thread where everyone can post their own religious or spiritual beliefs (or lack thereof). Then we can decide whether those said beliefs, have any bearing on whether other people should take them seriously....or not.

By the way, why not discuss whether one's sex, sexual preference, race or education have anything to do with \taking people seriously as well.

Substaniated? By TIME? A media outlet that depends upon a serious amount of pharmaceutical ad revenue for their income is your source? Or a bunch of atheists from all over the internet? Or a group of disgruntled former members who have their own undisclosed financial agenda? Wow. I see where you get all your certainty from.
