Trust me, I'm not arguing Fox News is moderate. They are just as much on the right as MSNBC is on the left.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

This link will give you the viewership numbers from Oct 16 09 for all cable news channels.

Here is a article about the news viewership for NBC ABC and CBS below it are the number for their nightly news shows

    http://television.aol.com/news/nielsen-ratings

NBC's "Nightly News" topped the evening newscasts with an average of 9.2 million viewers (6.1, 12). ABC's "World News" was second with 8.1 million (5.5, 11) and the "CBS Evening News" had 6.1 million viewers (4.1, 8).

That is 23.4 million viewers for the nightly news shows compared with 1.8 for fox news. Cant really disagree with the numbers.

That is what I said. They are right but compared to the other news media they are more center.

I think Olbermann is a flaming far left nut job farther to the left than Anne Coulter is to the right.

I'm shocked that you think that.

Both stations are a waste of time. The only thing I like on MSNBC are the lockup shows and other true crime documentaries. Much more entertaining than a bunch of loudmouth whiners on both channels.

    BTW, it's niche-not nitch.

All news stations are biased, and in general I think the media leans farrrr more to the left than to the right. This extends to Hollywood as well. I find it kind of weak that the White House attacks Fox. The media loves to love Obama more than any other human being I can think of, yet the White House attacks the one news source that criticizes him.

For the record, I voted for Obama. I just think it's ridiculous how beautifully they paint him after how they hated on Bush for his entire term.

Do you mean the GWB who constantly called out the NYT? I didn't think so.

Fox News caters to the 25% who are the right wing fringe who only go to Fox for their "news". Nobody else really gives a crap about Fox.

Every so often I go to their website to get a kick out of their "fair and balanced" "you decide" mantras. Like most bullies, they can dish it out but when they get pushed back they whine like children. Here is what I just found-it's typical:
