OUCH, No thanks. I have listened to his show for a few minutes and it is unbearably painful. He is an arogant blowhard, who endlessly harps ont he same themes. I don't get how anyone can truly enjoy his show.

I have occasionally heard a far left talk radio show and it is painful as well.
I don't find that type of radio entertaining.

as far as being racists, I think he has been willing to push the limits, in order to stir up controversy / ratings and pander to his audience.

His McNabb quote struck me as rascist and was just plain bad football analysis as well:
I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They?re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there?s a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn?t deserve

Has anyone thought of the possiblity that Rush doesn't have any actual desire to own a NFL team, but knows he won't be allowed to do so for the reasons Rusty lists above and sees this as a great opportunity to get lots of publicity and get to play the victim "I've been discriminated against for my political views! they wouldn't let me buy a team because I'm conservative! Freedom of speach is no more thanks to Obama/Pelosi/Reid!!!"

I've never listed to his show, so I can't say whether or not he's racist, but the impression I've got from clips I've seen or threads on this board is that is more likely to accuse others of being racist/prejudice than make actual racist remarks himself (I'm thinking of him implying that Colin Powell only supported Obama because he's black, or that (fill in the minority group) wants 'special rights' that white males can't get, etc)
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

Collin Cowherd made a good point this morning. The players are outraged about the possability of Limbaugh owning a team but htey have supported close to 500 felones in the NFL over the 9 years including Mike Vick, and Dante Stalworth. So I dont think they have a leg to stand on.

Jason Whitlock wrote a column today saying he thinks it's just Rush making an attention grab, and doesn't expect to be allowed, as part of his ongoing war to remain top conservative mouthpiece over the surging Glenn Beck.

So when you post a comment it's a valid opinion, but when someone that has a different opinion it's spin?

I remember after the election when washedupwrestler was using one of his numerous aliases on the other board to post about how he was going to stop being such a miserable dickhead all the time.

Glad he stuck to that pledge...

I'm not sure what kind of backlash you are expecting. People said the same thing about Micheal Vick and that died within a couple of days. Since ACORN can't really say anything without reminding everone of their misdoings I don't know who will really care. As far as players saying they won't play for him, they will lose there paychecks for everyday they don't. Money will trump their jaded views, it always does.
