My first cousin tried to become a NAVY SEAL and snapped during training -he is currently incarcerated in Terre Haute for 3 counts of Manslaughter . He was all state as a tight end but flunked out of college -6'3'' 230 and mean as hell.

The part that broke him was the sitting in a room of ''silence'' where the first one to make a sound gets jumped by everyone -he farted and it was on .

Nasty friends for sure. A good high school friend and '65 lb wrestler that was a year ahead of me had a sister in my grade. even though it was a small school she wasn't one to mix in the fun. Well, some of us went off to college, she took up banking. Sorta, she hit 9 banks for armed robbery over the span of two years before they caught her. She did 15 years and is still on lifetime parole. I was at my Mom's house many years back and read about her parole in the local newspaper. Here I sat, 17 years outta HS, wife, three kids, on my second house, vacations up and down the east coast, and she is, finishing up 15 years behind bars. The gals that run the HS reunions have her address from her brother, but she never responds. Her name, Linda Rough.

"Enter the Past Tense" by Roland Haas.

I wrote a longer post detailing some of the antics of Roland, Fred (Roland called him Fritz), and myself when we were editors for the high school paper. But, I had second thoughts and deleted it.

I've finished the book and he made a passing reference to me and Fred as his first real friends in school. I shouldn't have worried. We've also been in contact, much to my pleasure.

If you scour the internet, you will find folks doubting his story in less than flattering terms. They are way off base. One thing not known is that he has testified in "closed sessions". Those in a real position to know find him totally credible. Other just pretend to be experts (on closely-held covert CIA ops, no less). The CIA itself will never confirm or deny....
