    Back at school they put Patton's statue directly in front of the Cadet Library. The joke was he never set foot in there while a cadet so they made him stare at it forever.

    Patton was always one of my favorites. He authored many memorable quotes.

    He was a sharp guy - no doubt about that. Probably was a heckuva storyteller over a few beers, I'll bet, too.

    I don't know where these came from, but they were real popular when I was in Viet Nam.

    Wasn't it Churchill who was called drunk by a woman? He responded that she was ugly but in the morning, he'd be sober.....
