That wouldn't work out so well.....what a lot of companies are doing either bringing only bringing a person or two from each office and then letting them take the training/information back to the office....there are ways to keep costs down and many companies are finding them

2 years ago or 2 years from now that juncket would cost 1400 per person. I'd rather see them do it now and help that local aeconomy a bit, than 2 years from now.

Besides AIG spends that much on juncket for 1/10 the attendees.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

When I was at Nissan we would have conference calls with all the heads of department and it would amount to many many people at once. They would then have times for other essential personnel to call in. This was people all over the world, the calls would last up to 12 hours.

I am sure that there did not need to 675 people present. I would bet that 100 could have been present and then brought back info packets for the rest. Unless we believe that 1 person is unable to relay accurate info to 6 or 7 other people.

Alright, we get it. You don't like that they spent $700,000 on a convention.

But hey, who gives a rip if they waste a few billion dollars on weapons?.....

It sucks because you dont seem to understand financial penalties and you did not understand that it works in every other industry.

....and you don't seem to understand that the corruption problems in the defense industry cannot be solved by some yahoo on a messageboard, even when they think they have all the answers....

yahoo on a message board who's family owns one of the largest concrete reinforcing steel companies in the nation, which has government contracts. I have seen it work first hand, I worked in this company and understand it very well. It is not about having all the answers, just the right ones. But you are a defeatist, you dont think anything can work because of all that corruption. Good thing Teddy Roosevelt didn't have you attitude.
