Essentially, it's stating corporate America has slashed the expense out itself and most businesses will stop the bleeding of red ink since payroll has been pared to the bone.

You and me both, Spidy! I am actually in pretty good shape, since my mutual funds are able to purchase larger shares with my monthly payments. But I need the market to rise in the next couple of years to make the cashout work. I have 3 years left before my planned retirement. I can go a couple of years beyond that, if necessary, but would really, really, really like to see things ready by then. Or hit the Lotto - that would work, too.
