So you don't have anything to back up your statements?

No. Just the fact that every economist worth their salt says we're getting out of the recession and that my retirement money has grown exponentially since Obama did stuff that right wing nutjobs like yourself go ballistic over.

How's that for you Mr Miserable Last Word Freak?

I can just see you googling away to find some right wing nutjob website to refute the obvious.

If you could actually answer a question in an intelligent way then I wouldn't have to keep asking. I should have known better and should this time but I will ask one more time.

How did Obama's policies help the economy? There is no arguing the fact that the Dow and Nasdaq is going up but what made this happen.

How much of the money has been spent? How has this helped the unemployment and economy....can you answer any of these questions?

I look forward to your attempt and please provide sources.

Well, if the economy was getting worse I am sure Obama would be getting most of the blame for it.

My short answer is that he has continue the Bush policy of bailing out the banks and the banking system never failed and has since rebounded. The money to bail out the car companies seems to have worked, now they are both out of Chapter 11. I don't think anyone really knows how much the stimulus money is working, but I would think it is helping even if it is acting only as a confidence booster.
In addition, he has not enacted any of the "confiscatory tax policies" that oppoenents were so sure he was going to. I don't know what basis anyone could have for his short term management of the economy. To be sure there are long term concerns with the deficits.

Just to point out, nobody will ever know for sure how well the stimulus money worked. No matter what happens with the economy people who like Obama will say the money helped, people who don't will say it hurt.
There's no such thing as a pretty good aligator wrestler.

I think you bring up a couple good points.

    1. He did continue the same thing Bush was doing....didn't like it then and don't like the bailouts now. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't it true that most of the money hasn't been spent yet.

There are a lot of questions that come with them whether they helped stem the tide or if it was just the natural peaks and valleys(this one very low) of an economy. It will be interesting to see how the Ford compares to GM since they didn't get a bailout.

    2. There are some big concerns with the deficits.

    3. You are right about the taxes up to this point.....although a few possibilities scare me some

I guess the point I am trying to make is there are too many moving parts right now and way to early to 1. say we are actually on our way out (hope we are and some say we are) 2. who and/or what was responsible.
