Russia losing credibility

Russia's aggression in Georgia is only strengthening Poland's argument they need a missile defense system.

Russia can't slap around one little country without making all the others a bit nervous.

I'm not sure what they gained by thumping Georgia the way they did.

This is pure speculation, but maybe some of the military brass just wanted to flex their muscles and Moscow can't control them?

Let Germany, France, Spain, Italy, etc. send troops.

They have more to lose.

We can't carry the entire free world on our back.

Exactly! Many of you don't seem to realize that Georgia's "freedom" is limited to America's aid. Georgia can't survive without American taxpayers. Its not freedom its a welfare state.

Of course a nuclear war is very much a last resort. Don't forget Russia can also make the West miserable by supplying advanced arms and nukes to Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba and China.
