Bonnie, I have no idea. However, this might explain why there are often several questions about topics not discussed in the briefing.

Matclone, I thought you might enjoy this article I was reading. Since I never listen to talk radio I can't offer my own critique of the article but I bet you would agree (and Chance would probably disagree) with a lot of what is said.

Come on now. You don't have to do that. Just separate the quote and insert your comments. It's more effective.

I remember not too long ago the right was up in arms that anyone would dare criticize the previous president in a "time of war". Are we not still at war?

Both sides have the right to comment on the current president be it 43 or O. America realizes that the republicans are livid that they have lost the last 2 elections. It's what has turned people off to whatever message they are trying to convey.

Thanks, I'm not sure I got to the end of the article, but, yeah, it's nice to see someone else shares my point of view and identifies some of the features of talk radio that I've mentioned, such as:
    --use of propaganda techniques
--conversation at maturity level of the teenager
--the angry white man in the suit (OReilly is the archetype)
    --the appeal to nativism
