The song I know is "Hey There Delilah".
I know a Song - "I Kissed a Girl" but the version I know is at least five years old. Is there a remake out?
I bet I would recognize most of them if I heard them, and I have heard of almost all of the artists, but looking at the titles I can't come up with the tune. | | |

Not the greatest song in the world... and the car wasn't much either. In fact, in looking at all the cool songs playing when you other guys came into the world, it's a wonder I just didn't stay in the womb.
Thanks for posting the link. Fun to see what the #1s were on my birthday.
Mark
PS "Grazing in the Green Grass" -- I think we had a discussion about this song a year or so ago. Trust me -- you've heard it; it's been used in commercials. It's a jazzy instrumental that starts with a distinctive cowbell ("We need more cowbell!"). There was a version with lyrics where the chorus went "Icandigitshecandigitwecandigit, can you dig it, baby?" I think of it as the perfect summer song, 212% cooler than "Volare". Musicologists of a certain age can add to this or correct me.

Without getting too personal... I think the song was a #1 twice: on its original release in the mid 1960s, and again to coincide with the movie "Pretty Woman" starring Julia Roberts, Richard Gere and Jason Alexander.

Mark | In my case, it was the original, 1964.

1999 ... "Smooth" by Santana featuring Rob Thomas
1998 ... "I'm Your Angel" by R. Kelly & Celine Dion
1997 ... "Something About the Way You Look Tonight/ Candle in the Wind 1997" by Elton John
1996 ... "Un-Break My Heart" by Toni Braxton
1995 ... "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men
1994 ... "On Bended Knee" by Boyz II Men
1993 ... "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meat Loaf
1992 ... "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston
1991 ... "Black or White" by Michael Jackson
1990 ... "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)" by Stevie B
