I think you're underestimating the way the Giants defense played in both of those games.

Brady had a go ahead touchdown at the end of the game it was the defense that could not hold the lead. Favre made his biggest mishaps at the end of the game including overtime so giving him credit there is a stretch.
Brady may not pass all of favres recors but he is the better qb of the two imo. Posted via Mobile Device

I will agree with you on Brady being better. I think Brady is a big benefactor of being on a great team though which Favre hasn't had in recent years up until last year. Both qb's in their prime though, I'll take Favre (that may be because of how much I hate the Patriots though). The thing I like most about Favre is probably that same mentality you're grilling him for. I love when guys go for the win instead of just trying not to lose.

When favre was in his prime he was able to be a risk taker but as he gets older it is not as effective. I don't think there are many quality quarterbacks that aren't trying to win so when I hear the talking heads say it after a terrible throw I scratch my head.
I guarantee everything brady does in a game is to help his team win he just does not play wrecklessly. Posted via opMobile Device

What do you expect the Packers to do, stop preparing for the next season for a few months to see if Brett changes his mind?
He said he was done.
End of story.

I would go as far as saying he never even had a really good receiver. Brady wins side by side match up hands down.

I think Brady had some pretty good recievers like Branch and Brown, they just didn't have the name power that Moss has. And last year I think Welker was just as good as Moss was. He just didn't get the td passes that Moss got.

Brady had the super clutch drive against the Rams, he put up all kinds of numbers against the Panthers in which both teams scored over thirty points (defense what?), and put up another solid performance against the Eagles. Of course they had a good defense and special teams as well its why they are the best team of the decade. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
