Sure, though, I'm sure Aaron Rodgers is an upgrade.

I dont think Aaron Rodgers is an upgrade, just find it comical the way people jump all over others poor performances but no one has received more free passes than Favre. | | |

He has the NFL record in yards, TD's, and MVPs. He's earned those free passes due to performances. And the fact remains, they were in the NFC championship game. Tom Brady played poorly in the AFC Championship game as well.

Rodgers is the product of a system, the same coach who made Joey Harrington and Akili Smith look like top tier quarterback prospects.

Personally I hope Favre gets his chance to compete for the job and if he doens't earn it, I can't wait to see him carrying the clip board on the sidelines. Surely he isn't above what's best for the team.
I loved his performance in the championship game last season, wouldn't mind to see him stinking up the joint again, so really doesn't matter if he's the starter or the back up.
Watch out for my Chargers this year, we're going to the big game!

. | Favre is one of the best ever. That however does not excuse the fact that he had some poor seasons late in his career and the blame was put on everyone but him. Its the media love affair and excuses made for him that seem to have led favre to think it is the green bay favres.
Bradys team won the conference championship even in the super bowl he put his team ahead late in the game after playing poorly. Favre played terrible and came up small in the biggest moments of the game.
Its not even that he he makes poor throws its that he has continued to make some baffling decisions that have really hurt his team in big games. A Qb of his caliber and experience should not make those mistakes but no one has held him accountable and it gets played off as brett just trying to win.
