I haven't heard anything yet. He said he'd email today if he felt up to it. I am sure we will hear from him soon. If I get a message I will pass it along but I will bet he will stop by himself once he feels well enough.

Your usally in the hpspital 3-7 days after hip replacement. Blood clots and such. That's what my dr. did. So I assume it's the thing to do.

Hey Brothers,
Thank you Brother PM for posting this thread and for my good wrestling friends out there who's thoughts and prayers were certainly felt as I went under the knife and saw last week. The hip replacement surgery itself went well. I woke up in the recovery room about 4 hours after it started and my shoulder hurt more than my hip. It turned out that while my left hip was being operated on, they had me laying on my right side, which I can only do for about 30 minutes due to athiritis there. Apparently, during the operation, I woke up and told them that my shoulder was killing me and I needed to get off of it now. The nurse said it took 3 of them to continually hold me down for the remainder of the operation. So now I have the shame of being pinned by nurses! Man, from Olympic Alternate to pinned on an operating table! How the mighty can fall.
I spent 5 nights in the hospital, and was then transfered Tuesday to the rehab center across the street. I am supposed to be home on Sunday, so I am pretty psyched! I have been walking faster and faster with the walker and I start on crutches today. Just need to be able to navigate stairs before I am sent home. Thats about it for now. Still on pretty good pain meds that make me drowsey pretty fast. Again, thank you all so much for your kindness and love. It has and continues to mean the world to me that I will always have a wrestling family.
