Is there anything cool there such as a sign that says anything about Jake Deitchler or the other Olympians that have come from there?

he's been on the news a lot, but I haven't seen anything like they put up for Gardner in his town (giant sign)

Is there at least a sign that says something like "Welcome to Anoka?" I will be close to the area in a week and want to visit the home of Kid Dynamite.

Anoka is one of the suburbs of Minneapolis. The cities tends to all run together with no real separation between them.

All of the signs I have seen along the highways leading into Anoka have all been the General Highways signs that only have the city name and population.

There may be signs I am not aware of though.

You may want to ask on a Minnesota wrestling forum- http://z7.invisionfree.com/The_Guill...rum/index.php? (the guillotine) There would be many people there from Anoka who could better tell you if there is what you are looking for. Another good bet for signs honoring him would be at the Anoka High School. I think he also has a website going now.
