    Default Its practically free

At Macy’s, Ben Sherman men’s dress shirts were $59.99, marked down from $89.50. At Bergdorf Goodman this week, a swingy Chloe sundress was $625, down from $1,275. A black ruffled-hem Dolce & Gabbana dress was $711, down from $1,450.

Another brilliant article by NY Times. I bet all this stuff is made in China too for about $5 a piece.

50% off at the big stores is routine. I never makes sense to pay anything less than 50 off.

I buy one pair of sneakers each year and usually pay 75-80% less than retail price at the sports stores. You just to know when they start the annual clearance. I haven't paid more than $29 for name brand sneakers since I was in HS.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.

Yeah but those dresses costing thousands of $$$ is ludicrous to begin with.

What self conscious woman needs a thousand dollar sundress?

I do the marketing for a store that sells nothing besides dresses over $1400.00 USD... The overall sales numbers have increased, however, the US sales have been cut by about 40% since last june..
