| Yeah, here also. It is 9 PM and it sounds like a company-sized fire-fight, with artillery support. The animals are sedated and making it through pretty well so far. I'm about 1/4 way through a 1.75 bottle of Jack.

Viewed the fireworks show at Ventura College, departed my brothers house the moment there were over, arrived in Oxnard 15 minutes later and still sounds like a battle zone. |

Yeah, the City of Fillmore puts on a fireworks show at the middle school, which is visible from anywhere in town. But they are pikers compared to my neighbors! Thousands of dollars worth of illegal skyrockets have filled the air tonight. It has been absolutely non-stop since dusk.
Luckily, Dr. Jack is still with me, and still working his medical miracle. During the worst of it my dogs were up pacing from room to room. They are sleeping now. The cats were medicated, crated, and put in the bathroom (the quietest place in the house) with a ipod playing Mozart.
