I hope you don't find this post intrusive...but I found myself thinking about this when I was sitting in traffic today. (I have no idea why)

Have you ever considered moving out of NYC to a kinder and gentler region in the US?

Your description of how you were treated when you came to this country tells me you probably didn't grow up in a very nice neighborhood.

Maybe some of your negative attitudes toward American culture wouldn't be so harsh if you lived in a city with a slower pace.

I personally can't stand most New Yorkers.

I could see you settling into a small liberal college town in say Ohio or PA and help with the wrestling team or be a strength coach or something.

What did you think of PSU? (minus the hazing and wrestling team)

I am not against busy life or financial institutions. I am against the system, meaning how it teaches people to think, what they value, and their perception of the world. If I run away to a small town, those after money and power will still do their thing and the system will still praise those same people.

Therefore, I have to learn the system, ridicule it but adapt to it and live my life making people see there is a better way, my way. I enjoy telling people they are wrong much more than I would enjoy living in a quiet town and licking my wounds. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, PSU was great. Nice campus and a great school.

I get this a lot. That is why it is so great. We will just have to wait and see who is right and who is wrong 20 years from now.
