Mom told her it was ok to come back home. What a joke that family is!

UPDATE, 3:12 PM ET Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered Paris Hilton to return to jail to serve out her original 45-day sentence, according to The Associated Press.
“It’s not right!” shouted the weeping Ms. Hilton, the A.P. said. “Mom!” she called out to her mother in the audience.
She has served five days so far, and was facing a 23-day term before being transferred on Thursday to house arrest by the Los Angeles Country Sheriff’s Department. They cited “medical issues.”
TMZ reported that she would be delivered directly back to prison from court.

Sheriff Joe does more to whore for the camera than Paris ever dreamed of. Thew guy is a fraud. For all his 30 cent meals and tents and pink underwear the crime rate has gone up in Maricopa Co. every year.

Can't say I didn't see it coming though, I knew she wouldn't make the 23 days of her 45 day sentence, completely ridiculous.

Any other "normal" person would've been taken to the hospital (if medical treatment was needed), given the treatment they needed and sent right back to jail.
Any normal person would never have gotten jail time to begin with.

You guys are totally wrong here. This judge is grandstanding. Check his sentencing record. Paris got the stiffest sentence anyone ever recieved from him for similar offenses. No one besides her would ever have set foot in a jail for this.

It's totally absurd that people have so much spite and hatred for a little insignifcant girl who's done nothing but be hot and stupid, yet they are willing to give lying, cheating politicians a free pass. so sad.

but hey, we can all rest a little easier tonight cuz Paris Hilton is in The Clink. gimme a break

The reason the crime rate in PHX is going up is dut to the rise in population and the enormous rise in illegal immagration. Look at any city that is in a growth period such as the Maricopa County (which is a huge county and encompasses almost every major city in AZ) you will see a steady rise in crime.

I would also like to say that I am happy for Paris. Perhaps her going to jail will teach her something. Her parents have failed her and she needs a slap in the mouth and for people to treat her like everyone else not some pompas princess.

I don't think I've ever posted on here about giving a pass to lying, cheating politicians... as I've mentioned before, I worked for the Public Defenders Office, and I was merely stating that I've seen dozens upon dozens of people go to jail that need medical attention and never receive it- she has a slight mental breakdown and gets a 'get out of jail' pass.

She was sentenced by a judge to do time in jail (right or wrong, she was sentenced)- she was arrested for DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE and then caught driving 3 more times for driving without a license, simply because she thought it was ok? I'm sorry, but I think the judge was correct in sentencing her to jail time, otherwise, she would still be driving... I'm sure if she happened to kill someone while driving with a suspended license because she didn't go to jail everyone would be saying, "she should've went to jail that time... blah blah blah."

Jail is used as a deterrent to crime- maybe next time she thinks about getting into a car drunk or even without a license she'll remember her trip to "The Clink" and it will deter her from driving.

Bottom line is this...there are other people who deserve our ire more than some hot chick with no brains.

I didn't mean you individually as far as giving a pass goes, but to say anyone else would not have gotten a sentencing break is completely innaccurate

This is a media generated story complicated by a publicity inclined judge trying to make a name for himself

You might be right. But Loudmouth Joe can't pass up an opportunity to put himself in front of the camera telling everyone what a great job he is doing. If he is so tough on crime, and his jails are so miserable, why has the rate of repeat offenders increased every year in Maricopa county since 2001?

    The guy is just pathetic.

I don't disagree with you about the judge- he most likely is trying to make a name for himself and I definitely think he's trying to make an example out of her, but making an example out of her is fine with me... I saw a piece the other morning on Good Morning America asking little girls if they looked up to her anymore and the answer was that she's no longer a role model (not that I thought she should've been in the first place). I think the young girls of today need to focus on other things, rather than just " being a hot chick" and getting out of trouble simply because they look good.
