Yes, that's my 6 year old (middle guy). I normally use my older guys for things like this, and I like this throw (it's a counter throw)
This place has a great policy about Avatars. Normally you need to tinker with them to get them small enough to use, this place lets you use a really big file
2 P-Jerseys exit (other one says 133).
One from a month ago and one from a couple of days ago. Perhaps someone tried to steal your identity for the switch - one of the trolls maybe.
No posts, maybe the mods can delete them?
Is it possible that you set it up and thought it didn't go through when it did? (I got an error message setting this account up and I had to change my email later to confirm the account and get additional features)
PJ - why not upload the GIF strait to here?
You need to have the GIF shrunken down first, can't be more than 100x100. The Gimp is a free program that will do that very easily
Judo tournaments are all year round, but if you want you kid to be good at judo, you have to travel a lot further than you do for wrestling tournaments. They also cost a lot more to enter them.
Philadelphia has one of only 8 ranked tournaments in the US and literally have the tournament came down for Canada - my 6 year old got 3rd this which is very prestigious (my 8 year old made the semis but lost in the semis and then lost his first wrestleback match).
My wife graduated with the only American Olympic judo finalist (he was also an AA). He's the olympic coach and his facility is great, right where my in laws live (that's where Katie Mocco lives now, she trains there). So hopefully they will practice there a little this summer.
Philadelphia has an all-Russian judo place that is very good, if I took my kids there to fight with those kids all the time, they could be really good. Kids are much more likely to get hurt in judo and that's an issue with everything - often kids in the suburbs do a water down version and get hammered in tournaments (like the kid on the receiving end on this Av, obviously didn't know what he walked into - both of my sons cruised through this tournament)
PJ, you know both of the Pritzlaff's are excellent in judo, right? Same with Mocco (I think everyone knows that).
NJ had a guy in 1988 who got hurt in the state semi finals (should have been state champ, Dan Smith of Middlesex) who did judo first and was just awesome at wrestling as a kid (national freestyle champ I believe). I was always curious about it since then and did not get to do it myself until graduating college. The place I went to (in Queens) had Igor Zinoviev as a member and that's how I started following the UFC (I was blown away that Frank was able to slam him like that)
